About SPED Atlas
SPED Atlas is the special education front door of the Disability Atlas family, built and maintained by ConnectIDD.
What it is
SPED Atlas brings together what families need through the school years, ages 3 to 22: their district's special education office, schools that specialize, services and therapists, free advocates, plain-language guides to the process and rights, and how each state does.
Services come from the Disability Atlas, a free national directory. School and district data come from NCES. State information comes from each state's education agency and the sources named on every state page.
Who built it
SPED Atlas is built and maintained by ConnectIDD, a consulting firm for organizations serving people with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
SPED Atlas lists SpecialEd Connect as a partner for Texas families.
